Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 6, 2026

In short

  • No account, no sign-in, no server of our own.
  • We keep no personal data about you on servers of our own. Your game progress stays on your device.
  • The game is free and shows Google AdMob ads. To serve them, Google collects some device and usage data; how to limit that is explained below.
  • To learn which of our ad campaigns brought you to the game, the game uses one measurement service, Tenjin. It does not show ads and never sees your game progress.
  • Optional in-app purchases (card packs, Remove Ads) are paid through Apple or Google. We never see your payment details; what you bought is recorded only on your device.

1. Who we are

This policy covers the game Goal Tower (Turkish name Gol Kulesi) for iOS and Android. The game is published by an independent developer. You can reach us at the address in Contact and support.

2. What is stored on your device

The game stores the following only on your device, in the game’s own storage. None of it is sent to us or to anyone else:

  • your best score (record) and the league progress that follows from it,
  • your settings: sound on/off and the game language,
  • counters that limit how often ads appear: games played, games since the last full-screen ad, and when that ad was shown,
  • your ad consent choice, if you were asked for one (Google’s consent tool keeps it on the device),
  • the power-up cards you bought and have not used yet, and whether you own Remove Ads,
  • the store’s transaction numbers of your purchases, kept so that a purchase is never delivered twice,
  • a running total of the revenue the ads shown on this device have earned, and the last campaign-measurement value worked out from it (the total itself stays on the device; the value is reported as described in Measuring our ad campaigns).

You can erase your record with Reset Best Score in the game’s Settings. Deleting the game from your device deletes all of this.

3. Ads, Google AdMob and Tenjin

The game is free; it is paid for by ads shown through Google AdMob: a banner on the menu and on the game-over screen, a full-screen ad after some games, and an optional rewarded ad you can watch to continue a run. No ad is ever shown while you are playing.

To show and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK built into the game collects the following data and sends it to Google, as Google describes it:

DataWhat it is
Device identifiersThe advertising identifier (on iOS the IDFA — only if you allow tracking; on Android the Advertising ID) and other app- or developer-scoped device identifiers (e.g. the Android App Set ID)
IP address and approximate locationA coarse location (country/city level) estimated from your IP address. The game does not ask for GPS or precise location.
Device and app informationTechnical details such as device model, operating system version, language and app version
Ad interactionsAds you have seen, taps on ads, video views and app launches
DiagnosticsThe SDK’s crash logs and performance data (e.g. launch time)

Google processes this data under its own privacy policy and responsibility. It is encrypted in transit (TLS). Google’s servers may be located outside your country (e.g. in the United States), so the data may be transferred internationally. Details:

Apart from Google and Tenjin (below), we use no analytics, tracking or marketing tools. The store you downloaded the game from (App Store or Google Play) processes download and purchase data under its own policy.

Measuring our ad campaigns: Tenjin

We advertise the game in other apps and on websites (for example on Meta, TikTok and Google). To learn which of those campaigns brought a player to the game, and how much ad revenue the players from each campaign bring, the game includes the software development kit of Tenjin (Tenjin, Inc., United States), a mobile measurement service that processes this data on our behalf. Tenjin does not show ads, and it never receives your scores, settings or purchases.

DataWhat it is
Device identifiersThe advertising identifier (on iOS the IDFA — only if you allow tracking; on Android the Advertising ID), the identifier for vendor (iOS) or the App Set ID (Android), and a random installation ID Tenjin creates
IP address and countryYour IP address, from which Tenjin derives your country
Device and app informationDevice model, operating system version, language and region, time zone, app version and bundle ID, and whether ad tracking is limited
How the game was installedOn Android, the Google Play install referrer and, if the Facebook or Instagram app is on your phone, Meta’s install referrer (the store link or ad that led to the install). On iPhone, Apple’s SKAdNetwork reports campaign results without identifying you, and for Google campaigns a Google library on your iPhone computes an aggregated, non-identifying conversion signal from the time of the first launch (not used in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland)
Game opens and ad revenueWhen you install and open the game, and for each ad shown in the game its format, ad unit and the revenue it earned — never what you do in the game

Tenjin uses this to attribute your install to the campaign that led to it, and passes the result to the ad network that ran that campaign (for example Meta, TikTok or Google) so it can measure the campaign. The data is encrypted in transit and processed on Amazon Web Services servers in the United States. Details: Tenjin Privacy Policy.

Your choices apply to Tenjin too. On iPhone, if you do not allow tracking, Tenjin does not receive the IDFA. Where the law requires consent (for example in the UK and the EEA), Tenjin sends nothing until you have answered the consent form, and nothing at all if you refuse the purpose “Store and/or access information on a device”.

In-app purchases

The game offers optional in-app purchases: card packs (each gives the same number of green, stopwatch and shield cards) and Remove Ads (no banner and no full-screen ads; the optional “watch an ad to continue” stays, because you choose to watch it).

Payments are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their own terms and privacy policies. We never receive your name, card number or any other payment detail.

When a purchase completes, the store gives the game a receipt for it. The game checks the receipt on your device, adds the cards (or turns off the ads) and keeps the store’s transaction number on your device so the same purchase is never counted twice. None of this is sent to us or to anyone else; the in-app purchase library in the game (Unity In-App Purchasing) talks only to Apple’s or Google’s store, and we have not switched on any Unity data service.

Cards are stored on this device only. If you delete the game or change devices, unused cards are not restored. Remove Ads is kept by your store account: on iPhone use Restore Purchases in the shop; on Android it comes back by itself.

4. Purposes and legal bases

Under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / UK GDPR) and Turkey’s Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK):

  • Game data stored on your device is used only to provide the game to you (performance of a contract / KVKK Art. 5(2)(c)). It never reaches us.
  • Personalized ads (ads based on your interests) rely only on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a) / KVKK Art. 5(1) explicit consent). Where the law requires it, the game shows you Google’s consent form, and on iOS it also asks for Apple’s tracking permission.
  • Non-personalized ads, ad measurement, frequency capping and fraud prevention rely on legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) / KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)): keeping the game free and protecting the ad system from abuse. Where the law requires consent to access your device, your consent is asked for.
  • Measuring our ad campaigns (Tenjin) relies on your consent where the law requires it (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) and elsewhere on our legitimate interest in knowing which of our campaigns work (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f) / KVKK Art. 5(2)(f)). On iOS the advertising identifier is used only with your tracking permission.
  • International transfers rely on the safeguards Google and Tenjin provide for them (e.g. standard contractual clauses) and, where required, your consent (KVKK Art. 9).

5. Your permissions and choices

  • iPhone (tracking permission): on first launch the game asks for Apple’s App Tracking Transparency permission. If you do not allow it, your advertising identifier (IDFA) is not shared with Google or Tenjin, and the game works exactly the same. You can change your mind any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Android (advertising ID): in Settings → Google → Ads (on some devices Settings → Privacy → Ads) you can reset or delete your advertising ID. Once deleted, apps — and Tenjin — cannot use it.
  • Ad consent form: where the law requires it, the game shows Google’s consent form. You can change your choice later with Privacy options in the game’s Settings (the option appears only where it is required). Your choice there also decides whether Tenjin runs.
  • If you have a Google account: you can turn off ad personalization in My Ad Center.
  • Turning personalization off does not remove ads; you will see general ads that are not chosen by your interests.

6. Children

The game’s content is suitable for all ages, but it is not designed for children and is not listed in any children’s category of the stores. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (or under the age set by your country’s law); apart from the ad and measurement data described above, the game collects no personal data. Our ad settings restrict inappropriate ad content. If you are a parent and have a concern about your child, write to us and we will do what we can.

7. Retention and deletion

  • Game data on your device stays there until you delete the game or reset your record. We have no copy of it.
  • Your purchases stay with Apple or Google under their own policies; the cards and the transaction numbers on your device are deleted with the game.
  • How long Google keeps the data it collects is governed by Google’s retention policy.
  • Tenjin keeps the campaign-measurement data on our behalf for as long as we use its service, under its privacy policy; we can have the data linked to your device deleted (see Your rights).

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, the GDPR, the UK GDPR, the KVKK (Art. 11) or US state laws (e.g. California’s CCPA/CPRA) give you the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to and port your data, and to withdraw consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that already happened.

  • We keep no personal data on servers of our own; the data on your device is under your control. Tenjin holds the campaign-measurement data on our behalf: to see it or have it deleted, write to us — on Android include your advertising ID (Settings → Google → Ads) — and we will pass the request to Tenjin.
  • For advertising data, use the settings above and Google’s tools; they also limit what Tenjin receives. We do not sell personal data. To opt out of “sharing for targeted advertising” under US state laws, turn off tracking on iOS, delete your advertising ID on Android, or use the game’s privacy options.
  • If you need help, write to us; we answer within 30 days.
  • You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority (in Turkey the Personal Data Protection Board, in the UK the ICO).

9. Changes

We may update this policy as the game changes. The current version is always on this page, with the effective date at the top updated. We also mention important changes in the store release notes.
